Pilates

Pilates uses movements requiring precision and control to both stabilise and strengthen your body’s ‘trunk’ – its core. Like yoga, pilates marries the mind and body to provide an excellent all-round workout that will leave you feeling renewed from the inside out.

Barre

Barre is taking the nation by storm (and rightly so we say). It borrows from ballet and other disciplines such as yoga and pilates, combining them to create a killer class (in a good way of course!). Using a prop to balance, barre lasers in on your core, focusing on isometric strength training. Barre, however, isn’t limited just to balancing – you’ll be quite literally flat to the mat with a lot of targeted core work.
